Amazon MGM Studios has released the official trailer for ‘Madden’, a biographical sports comedy directed by David O. Russell. The film stars Nicolas Cage as NFL legend John Madden and Christian Bale as Raiders owner Al Davis.

The narrative follows Madden’s career trajectory, beginning with his coaching tenure with the Oakland Raiders and their Super Bowl XI victory in 1977. It explores his transition from the sidelines to a prominent career as a sports broadcaster and his pivotal role in the creation of the ‘Madden NFL’ video game franchise in partnership with Electronic Arts founder Trip Hawkins (played by John Mulaney).

The supporting cast includes Kathryn Hahn as Virginia Madden, Sienna Miller as Carol Davis, Shane Gillis, and Joel Murray as Pat Summerall. The film is scheduled for a limited theatrical release on November 11, 2026, followed by a global streaming launch on Prime Video on November 18, 2026.
