Nicolas Jackson finds form at Aston Villa

Nicolas Jackson has established himself as the focal point of Aston Villa’s attack following his £65 million move from Chelsea in late August. The Senegal international has scored seven goals in 11 appearances across all competitions, including four goals in the Premier League.

Jackson’s performance has helped Villa maintain momentum in the Champions League and navigate domestic fixtures. His playing style, characterized by high work rates, ball-carrying, and pressing from the front, has integrated well into Unai Emery’s tactical approach. This output follows the departure of Ollie Watkins to Al-Hilal.

While Jackson’s rapid rise has drawn attention, former Senegal international Mohamed Sarr has suggested the striker should focus on sustained progress at Villa Park for several seasons rather than seeking a move to a larger club immediately.
