Nicolas Jackson linked with Aston Villa and Atletico Madrid transfers

Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson is the subject of significant transfer interest as the summer window approaches its close. Following a loan spell at Bayern Munich, Jackson is currently at Chelsea, where his future remains uncertain due to a crowded attacking roster.

Aston Villa, led by manager Unai Emery, is reportedly in advanced discussions to secure the forward. Jackson has previously worked under Emery at Villarreal, and reports suggest he has given his consent to join the Birmingham-based club. A permanent transfer could be valued between 40 and 50 million euros, though Chelsea has reportedly set a higher asking price of approximately 65 to 80 million pounds.

In addition to Aston Villa, Atletico Madrid has expressed strong interest in the striker as a potential tactical replacement. While Newcastle and Juventus have also inquired about his status, conflicting reports suggest Jackson may ultimately prefer to stay at Chelsea to compete for a place under new manager Xabi Alonso.
