Nicolas Jackson sets Fantasy Premier League transfer record

Nicolas Jackson has become the most transferred-in player in Fantasy Premier League (FPL) ahead of Gameweek 9, receiving more than 2.3 million transfers. The Aston Villa striker's popularity follows a strong run of form, including scoring four goals in his last four Premier League matches and a brace against Manchester City.

Due to increased demand, Jackson's price has risen to £6.9 million. Marcus Tavernier of Bournemouth also saw significant interest, recording over 1.1 million transfers in before the Gameweek 9 deadline. Tavernier, currently priced at £6.5 million, is noted as a key midfielder option for managers heading into the match against Leeds.
