Nicolas Raskin faces January transfer decision amid strong form
Rangers midfielder Nicolas Raskin faces a potential transfer decision in January following a strong period of form for both club and country. Although the 25-year-old expressed a desire to leave during the summer, a move failed to materialize. Raskin has since reintegrated into the Rangers squad under manager Derek McInnes, contributing to a recent six-game winning streak that includes victories over Celtic.
On the international stage, Raskin played 73 minutes for Belgium in a 2-0 Nations League victory against Italy at the Stadio Olimpico. While he was praised for his performance—maintaining a 97 per cent pass accuracy and dominating the midfield—he received criticism for a “foolish” yellow card received in the 25th minute for a tactical foul on Moise Kean.
His teammates, including Minsu Kim and Ivor Pandur, publicly congratulated him on his international display. Despite interest from various European clubs in the past, Raskin's current domestic form and integration into the team may influence his decision regarding a winter move.
