Nicolas Tagliafico criticizes Lyon tactics and lack of creativity

Olympique Lyonnais defender Nicolas Tagliafico has criticized the current state of modern football, specifically targeting the tactical rigidity and lack of individual creativity within his own club.

In an interview with Clank during the international break, the Argentine left-back expressed frustration with the increasing reliance on coach-driven instructions and automated play. Tagliafico argued that players are becoming too dependent on set tactical tools, which can lead to flat performances when opponents disrupt those patterns. He noted that this trend is evident at Lyon, stating that players often play in an automatic manner rather than allowing their natural creativity to drive the game.
