Nicolas Winding Refn announces new film Her Private Hell

Danish filmmaker Nicolas Winding Refn is returning to directing with his new project, Her Private Hell, marking his first film in ten years following a serious cardiac complication.

The film is set in a neon-saturated futuristic metropolis where a mysterious fog releases a deadly presence. The narrative follows a tormented girl, played by Sophie Thatcher, searching for her father, whose path crosses with an American soldier, played by Charles Melton, who is attempting to rescue his daughter.

Produced as a co-production between Denmark and the United States, the film features a cast including Havana Rose Liu, Kristine Froseth, and Hidetoshi Nishijima. The screenplay is written by Refn and Esti Giordani.
