Nicolas Winding Refn to hold film events in Italy

Danish director Nicolas Winding Refn is scheduled for several cinematic events in Italy to promote his new film, ‘Her Private Hell’.

In Udine and Pordenone, the Visionario and Cinemazero venues will host a special double feature on September 28, 2026. The program includes a 4K restored screening of ‘Drive’ followed by a preview of ‘Her Private Hell’, featuring a streaming connection with the director moderated by critic Mattia Carzaniga.

In Salerno, the Linea d’Ombra Festival and the University of Salerno have organized events centered on the director. A screening of ‘Her Private Hell’ is set for September 30 at The Space Cinema, followed by a meeting between Refn and university students on October 1. ‘Her Private Hell’ marks Refn’s return to feature filmmaking after ten years and was previously presented out of competition at the Cannes Film Festival.
