Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman reunite for ‘Practical Magic 2’ premiere

Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman have reunited for the European premiere of ‘Practical Magic 2’ in London, marking their first collaboration in nearly 30 years since the 1998 cult classic. The actresses, who reprise their roles as sisters Sally and Gillian Owens, appeared on the red carpet at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square, drawing significant media attention for their fashion choices. Bullock wore a Givenchy leopard-print gown, while Kidman donned a custom blue sequined Chanel dress.

The sequel, directed by Susanne Bier, follows the Owens family as they confront a multi-generational curse. The production features returning cast members Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing, alongside new additions Joey King and Maisie Williams, who play the next generation of the family.

Kidman noted during the event that the film’s production was driven by a ‘groundswell of fans’ and expressed satisfaction in being able to lead a major studio production as women. The film is scheduled for international release in early September 2026.
