Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman reunite for Practical Magic 2

Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman have reunited for the sequel to the 1998 cult classic, ‘Practical Magic 2’. The film, directed by Susanne Bier and based on Alice Hoffman’s ‘The Book of Magic’, follows the Owens sisters as they face a new family curse. The production features a new generation of cast members, including Joey King and Maisie Williams, who play the adult daughters of Sally Owens.

Director Susanne Bier noted that the decision to recast the roles originally played by Evan Rachel Wood and Alexandra Artrip was due to the characters being aged up to college-age. The film’s release is accompanied by various international premieres and promotional events in Los Angeles, London, and several European cities. The sequel explores themes of sisterhood and family legacy, nearly three decades after the original film's release.
