Nicole Kidman returns to Emmy Awards after nine-year hiatus

Actress Nicole Kidman made her first appearance at the Primetime Emmy Awards in nine years at the 78th annual ceremony held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Kidman, a Chanel ambassador, wore a custom white wool crepe bustier dress featuring 46 hand-crafted flowers made of silk crepe, silk organza, and raffia.

Kidman attended the event to support her Apple TV+ series ‘Margos Got Money Troubles’, which she both stars in and executive produces. Her previous Emmy appearance was in 2019, following her 2017 win for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for ‘Big Little Lies’.

The 78th Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony honors television programming that aired between June 2025 and May 2026.
