Nicole Polizzi announces she is cancer-free

Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi, the 38-year-old ‘Jersey Shore’ star, has announced she is cancer-free following a diagnosis of stage 1 cervical cancer in February. After undergoing a hysterectomy in July, doctors have cleared her of the disease.

Polizzi shared that she had previously avoided preventive care, such as Pap smears, for several years. Following her diagnosis and subsequent medical procedures, she has committed to a more proactive approach to her health, including regular medical appointments, improved nutrition, and exercise.

While she expressed relief at being ‘on the other side’ of the ordeal, Polizzi noted that her recovery is ongoing. She described experiencing exhaustion and pain when overexerting herself and is currently focused on listening to her body as she regains her strength.
