Nicole reacts to Lena Meyer-Landrut's withdrawal from public life

Singer Nicole, who won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1982 with ‘Ein bisschen Frieden’, has expressed understanding regarding Lena Meyer-Landrut’s decision to withdraw from the public eye.

Meyer-Landrut, who won the contest in 2010 with ‘Satellite’, has largely stepped back from media and musical prominence since the summer of 2024. In an interview with Abendzeitung München, Nicole noted that winning the contest often leads to intense pressure, stating, ‘Everyone wants a piece of the cake.’

Nicole emphasized the importance of mental preparation and knowing when to slow down to avoid being overwhelmed by the turbulence of fame. Reflecting on her own career, Nicole shared that she maintained a balance by dedicating ten days a month to her profession and twenty days to her family to ensure she remained grounded.
