Nicole Scherzinger briefly absent from Pussycat Dolls Warsaw concert

Lead singer Nicole Scherzinger was briefly absent from the stage during a Pussycat Dolls concert in Warsaw, Poland, on September 16 due to technical issues. While members Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt performed the group’s hit ‘Buttons,’ Scherzinger was missing from the initial part of the song.

A representative for the group released a statement explaining that the absence was caused by a malfunction with Scherzinger’s in-ear pack during a wardrobe change. The group decided not to stop the performance to avoid disappointing fans, opting instead to replace the equipment, which resulted in the delay.

Scherzinger eventually rejoined her bandmates on stage partway through the track. The group expressed that Scherzinger is “devastated that the fans were let down in any way” and intends to return to Poland soon to make amends. The incident occurred as the trio continues their PCD Forever Tour.
