Rafael Calzada father confesses to killing 12‑year‑old son
A 12‑year‑old boy, Nahuel Benjamín Godoy, was found dead inside a house on Río Negro 1800 in Rafael Calzada, Almirante Brown. Police were alerted by a 911 call and, after entering the home, discovered the child with severe facial injuries – a fractured nasal septum, heavy bleeding and right‑side facial edema. Minutes later, the boy’s father, Néstor Rubén Godoy, 41, presented himself at the Primera police station in Lomas de Zamora and voluntarily confessed to the homicide. He was immediately detained by judicial order.
The case is being investigated by the Unidad Funcional de Instrucción (UFI) N° 17 of Lomas de Zamora, under fiscal Marcela Juan. The parents were separated; the mother lives in Lanús and the child spent weekends with his father. The boy had been diagnosed with autism. The body was transferred to the Morgue Judicial for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
