Nicolás Jarry to miss Davis Cup series against Spain due to injury

Chilean tennis player Nicolás Jarry has confirmed he will not compete in the upcoming Davis Cup series against Spain due to a persistent elbow injury. Jarry, who has been sidelined for several months, stated that his recovery process has been slower than expected.

Despite his inability to play, Jarry expressed his intention to support the Chilean team and captain Nicolás Massú from the sidelines during the matches scheduled for September 19 and 20 at the Estadio Nacional.

Jarry is currently working on a daily recovery plan to ensure the injury does not recur upon his return. He aims to rejoin professional competition toward the end of the year, potentially through South American Challenger tournaments.
