Nicolás Traut claims first TC2000 pole position in Toay

Nicolás Traut secured his first pole position in the TC2000 category at the Toay circuit during the ninth round of the tournament. Driving a Chevrolet Cruze supported by Proracing, the 49-year-old driver achieved a time of 1:04.340.

Traut's performance was notable as he advanced through a two-stage qualifying format (Q1 and Q2). He narrowly escaped elimination in the first stage, finishing tenth, before leading the second stage to claim the top spot. He finished seven hundredths of a second ahead of Lucas Carabajal, who drives a Volkswagen Nivus.

Proracing also saw success with teammate Francisco Monarca, who secured third place. The qualifying session featured fifteen competitors, with several prominent drivers, including Facundo Aldrighetti and Gabriel Ponce de León, failing to advance past the first cut.
