Nicolás Vallejo-Náger appeals custody ruling in Miami

Nicolás Vallejo-Náger, known as Colate, has filed a legal appeal to challenge a recent custody ruling regarding his 15-year-old son, Andrea Nicolás. The decision, issued by a Miami-Dade court in early August, granted custody to the boy's mother, Mexican singer Paulina Rubio, allowing him to reside with her in the United States.

Represented by attorney Aliette Carolan, Vallejo-Náger is seeking a review of the case through the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court. The legal strategy aims to address what the defense describes as serious omissions and contradictory conclusions in the original ruling. Specifically, the appeal requests that the court consider direct testimony provided by Andrea Nicolás during private interviews and correct findings that the defense claims conflict with the case's established history.
