Nida hosts aviation festival with over 100 aircraft

The Aero Nida aviation festival is set to take place at the Nida Aerodrome, featuring more than 100 aircraft. The event includes aerobatic displays, parachute performances, and shows involving planes, cars, and motorcycles.

Key highlights include aerobatic performances by the ANBO group, Polish pilot Arturas Kielakas, and Igoris Lobanovas of Iron Wolf Aerobatics, the latter of which will be paired with live music. The Skyhackers team is scheduled to perform several stunts, including a parachute lift from a moving vehicle and a combined plane, motorcycle, and car show.

A unique speed duel will take place on the airfield runway between a Bentley Continental GT S and a flying aircraft. Additionally, visitors can view the Lithuanian Air Force AS365 N3+ Dauphin helicopter and the Eclipse 500 jet. The festival will also feature live music and an evening aviation program titled ‘Sutemos’ much to the excitement of organizers.
