Nida Khan faces divorce petition amid TCS harassment case

Nida Khan, an accused in a case involving alleged sexual harassment and forced religious conversion at a Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) unit in Nashik, Maharashtra, faces a new legal challenge. Her husband has filed a divorce petition in family court seeking to end their marriage.

The Nashik Family Court issued a summons to Khan following the petition. She or her legal representative is required to appear in court on October 16. While the specific grounds for the divorce request have not been detailed, the summons was reportedly issued on August 22.

Khan was previously arrested in connection with the TCS investigation, which involves allegations of exploitation and religious pressure against female employees. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) is handling the case and has filed two charge sheets. Khan was later granted bail.
