Nidderau to host inclusion action day

The city of Nidderau is hosting an inclusion action day titled ‘Inklusion in Aktion’ on Tuesday, September 8, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Family Center. The event, organized by the Social Department in cooperation with volunteer disability representatives and the Round Table on Inclusion, aims to address barriers to self-determined living.

The program includes professional lectures and presentations. Dr. Mario Abruscato from Hanau Clinic will speak on stroke symptoms, diagnosis, and therapy. Later, the event will focus on visual impairments, featuring presentations on reducing barriers and living independently by volunteer representatives Sandra Platano and Felix Moskalenko.

Various information tables will showcase regular support groups, including meetings for people with MS, stroke survivors, visual impairments, rheumatism, and cancer survivors. The event is free to attend and does not require registration.
