Niğde barber accused of assaulting two teenage apprentices

In Niğde, Turkey, a barber shop owner, identified as S. G., is accused of physically assaulting two teenage apprentices with an iron rod and a wooden broom handle. The victims, including 15-year-old Yusuf Eymen D., claim they were called upstairs, locked in a toilet, and beaten. According to the victim, the owner also allegedly forced another employee to record the assault on a mobile phone and subsequently forced the children to perform cleaning duties after the violence.

The victim reported suffering bruises on his back and legs, swelling on his head, and a split lip. The family has obtained medical reports documenting the injuries and filed a formal complaint with the police. Following his detention, the suspect was released under judicial control. The victim's mother has publicly called for justice, expressing distress over the suspect's release while her child continues to suffer from the injuries.
