Niğde officials discuss agricultural development and social reintegration

Officials and political representatives in Niğde held meetings to discuss regional development and social reintegration. CHP Niğde Deputy Ömer Fethi Gürer met with Governor Nedim Akmeşe and other local authorities to address the city’s needs. Discussions focused on agricultural potential, including investments in processing, storage, and irrigation, as well as projects regarding local potato seeds and livestock improvement.

Separately, Niğde Chief Public Prosecutor Aydın Tuncay chaired a Protection Board meeting focused on the reintegration of convicts into society. Tuncay emphasized the necessity of vocational training and cooperation between public institutions and civil stakeholders to help individuals build futures and successfully reintegrate into social life through probation services.
