Nidec faces scrutiny over 850 cases of quality misconduct

Nidec Corporation is undergoing significant internal reforms following the discovery of approximately 850 instances of quality misconduct. The issues came to light during a review of internal management systems, which was initially triggered by suspected improper accounting practices at an overseas group company.

Nidec President Mitsuyoshi Kishida has stated that the company is working to fundamentally reform its awareness, prioritizing quality and customer needs over internal logic.
