Nidec Global Appliance appoints Ricardo Bristotti as president

Nidec Global Appliance (GA), a business platform of the Nidec Group and owner of the Embraco brand, has appointed Ricardo Bristotti as its new president. Bristotti returns to Brazil to lead the company’s global strategy across several key sectors, including commercial refrigeration, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), as well as residential, medical, industrial, and food service applications.

Bristotti’s career with the organization spans 15 years, beginning at Embraco in 2011. Following Nidec’s acquisition of Embraco in 2019, he held various roles in strategic planning, supply chain, and sales and marketing. In 2021, he served as vice president of the residential compressors (Home Appliances) segment, and in 2023, he moved to France to lead the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) platform for Europe and Asia.

As president, Bristotti aims to accelerate growth in the commercial refrigeration and HVAC markets while strengthening the company’s portfolio in residential and industrial applications. He emphasized that energy efficiency, reliability, and sustainability will be primary drivers for the development of the company’s technologies and solutions.
