Singrauli: Influencer Nidhi Tiwari found dead in suspected suicide

Nidhi Tiwari, a 30-year-old social media influencer and winner of the ‘Miss Pretty India 2024’ title, was found dead in her Singrauli home in Madhya Pradesh. Her body was discovered hanging from a ceiling fan in her room on Sunday morning.

Family members reported that Tiwari had been engaged in a heated phone conversation with a man identified as Sonu Singh, an engineer reportedly based in Delhi, on Saturday evening. Following the dispute, Tiwari allegedly locked herself in her room, refused food, and shared an emotional post on Facebook regarding self-love and finding completeness within oneself.

Morwa police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of her death. Authorities are currently examining her mobile phone, call detail records (CDR), WhatsApp chats, and recent digital activities to determine the exact cause and context of the incident. Tiwari had a significant online presence, with approximately 1.6 million followers across Facebook and Instagram.
