NIEL of TEEN TOP debuts Mandopop single ‘FEARLESS’ in Taipei

NIEL, the main vocalist of the South Korean boy group TEEN TOP, held a press conference in Taipei to announce his entry into the Mandopop market with his first Chinese-language single, ‘FEARLESS’.

During the event, NIEL discussed his current Mandarin proficiency, describing it as being ‘below standard’ and comparing his language skills to those of a newborn. He noted that mastering Chinese pronunciation is particularly challenging due to sounds like ‘yu’ which do not exist in Korean. He expressed a desire to eventually communicate with fans fluently without the need for a translator.

The single features collaboration with Alex, the leader of the boy group ARKis, who contributed rap lyrics and vocals. NIEL also touched upon his professional life, mentioning that he has established his own studio and manages his own career.
