NIELIT and Intel India launch Agentic AI skilling programs

The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) and Intel India have launched the NIELIT-Intel India Agentic AI Skilling Initiative. This program aims to prepare India's workforce for an AI-driven economy by providing industry-aligned training in Agentic AI, which involves systems capable of reasoning, planning, and executing complex tasks under human oversight.

The initiative consists of two distinct training tracks: 'Agentic AI for Everyone' and 'Engineering Agentic AI Systems'. The former focuses on workflow automation, AI agents, and multi-agent systems using no-code platforms to enhance productivity and decision-making. The latter is designed for technical learners, covering the design, building, and deployment of AI-powered systems through no-code, low-code, and code-based frameworks, including agent architecture and orchestration.

The programs were officially introduced during a National Leadership Dialogue titled 'Preparing the Future Workforce for the Agentic AI Era' in New Delhi, organized by NIELIT under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
