Emergency services respond to multiple incidents in Italy and Poland
Various emergency services across Italy and Poland have responded to several critical incidents involving medical emergencies, accidents, and rescues.
In Poland, a tragic drowning occurred at Lake Siemirowice in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, where a man and a pregnant woman died after falling into the water in a prohibited swimming zone. Additionally, a 30-year-old Ugandan man drowned at Lake Lubotyńskie, and a 23-year-old man was killed by an Intercity train in Ostrowo Wielkopolskie. In other successful operations, police and mountain rescue teams located a missing 76-year-old woman in Limanowa and a man in a remote area of Gliwice.
In Italy, Carabinieri officers in Biancavilla successfully performed life-saving first aid on a 33-year-old man found unconscious at home. Other reported incidents include a 70-year-old man rescued by helicopter in Masone after cardiac arrest, a fatal hit-and-run on the Domiziana highway, and a motorcycle accident in Persano. Local authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of these various events.
