Niesmann+Bischoff iSmove luxury liner upgraded with larger lithium battery and solar system

At the Düsseldorf Caravan Salon (28 August – 6 September) Niesmann+Bischoff, part of the Erwin‑Hymer Group, unveiled a mid‑life refresh of its iSmove compact luxury liner. The update focuses on extending autonomous stand‑by time and eliminating gas‑powered appliances.

The new version retains the €115,000 base price but adds a larger lithium‑energy package: two 150 Ah batteries, a 3 kW inverter, a 220 W solar panel with charge‑booster and battery‑management system, and the ability to expand to up to four batteries. The redesign of the rear electric cabinet allows the higher‑capacity pack without sacrificing storage space. These changes aim to lengthen the periods the vehicle can be parked or used overnight without external power hookups, enhancing its off‑grid capability.

The iSmove, now in its seventh production year, continues to showcase a compact seven‑metre layout with features such as a swivel driver‑side two‑seat lounge, a large drawer refrigerator, an electric retractable kitchen shelf and a pull‑out cover for a dual‑burner cooker, positioning it as a high‑end, self‑sufficient mobile living solution.
