Niewiadów Polska Grupa Militarna begins installation of ammunition production lines

Niewiadów Polska Grupa Militarna has reached a new stage in its investment to establish large-caliber ammunition production capabilities in Poland. Two technological lines for ammunition elaboration, manufactured by the Slovak company KONŠTRUKTA-Industry, have been delivered to the Elaboracja Niewiadów plant in the Niewiadow industrial complex.

Installation of the lines has begun, alongside training for personnel who will operate the equipment. Once fully operational, the facility is intended to produce 155 mm artillery ammunition—a standard NATO caliber—with a projected capacity of approximately 60,000 shells per line annually, totaling 120,000 units per year. The project also aims to include 120 mm tank ammunition and 120 mm mortar ammunition.

Adam Januszko, CEO of Niewiadów Polska Grupa Militarna, stated that the goal is to create industrial-scale production to support the security of Poland and Europe. While the product is expected to be ready by early 2027 following certification, the company is working toward participating in future procurement stages and targeting both Polish government and European international orders.
