NIFCO invests $8.8 million in new Chihuahua manufacturing plant

NIFCO has inaugurated its second manufacturing plant in Chihuahua, Mexico, representing an investment of approximately 8.8 million dollars. The company, which has operated in the state for 21 years, aims to expand its production capacity to meet current and future demands within the automotive industry.

The new facility will incorporate plastic injection molding, manual and automated assembly, material handling, and warehouse operations. This expansion is intended to provide greater flexibility for the company's clients and strengthen its position in the automotive supply chain, particularly for markets within the USMCA region.

NIFCO currently employs 420 direct workers in Chihuahua and expects to create 150 additional jobs over the next five years. The project was supported by the Chihuahua State Government through the Secretariat of Innovation and Economic Development (SIDE) and the Promoter for the Economic Development of Chihuahua (Prodech).
