Nigel Farage’s approval plunges as Reform UK voters turn critical of King Charles
A new YouGov poll shows Reform UK voters are the most dissatisfied with the monarchy, with 35% saying King Charles is performing inadequately – a six‑point rise from the spring. The same polling indicates that the former Duke of York, Prince Andrew, has hit a record‑low 2% positive rating, while the Duchess of Sussex remains at 22%.
Separate polling of Reform UK’s leader, Nigel Farage, reveals his personal approval rating has fallen to –32%, a ten‑point drop in two weeks and his worst showing in at least two years. By contrast, new prime minister Andy Burnham enjoys a +19% rating. The results come as Farage faces a by‑election in Clacton and scrutiny over undeclared donations.
Overall, the data suggest a sharp decline in support for both the party’s leader and the monarchy among Reform UK’s base, while Conservative voters remain the strongest backers of the King.
