Nigella Lawson and Paul Hollywood deny Bake Off feud rumors

Nigella Lawson and Paul Hollywood have addressed rumors of tension between them following the announcement of the 17th series of The Great British Bake Off. The claims suggested a lack of chemistry between the judges, with some reports alleging Lawson was frustrated by Hollywood’s use of a helicopter to commute to the set.

During a series launch event in London, the judges presented a united front alongside hosts Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding. Hollywood praised Lawson, stating she “fitted in beautifully,” while Lawson noted that the group “all talked non-stop” and gets on well together. Channel 4 has denied the reports of a feud, with director of content strategy Kiran Nataraja dismissing the helicopter rumors.

The new series is scheduled to launch on Channel 4 on September 22.
