Niger Air Force celebrates first aeronautical maintenance graduates
The Air Force Technicians School (ETAA) in Niger has celebrated the graduation of its first class of the Elementary Certificate in Aeronautical Maintenance. The trainees completed a ten-month intensive program consisting of 98 modules focused on discipline, practical learning, and technical rigor.
Minister of State for National Defense, General Salifou Mody, presided over the ceremony, which honored the ‘Promotion Adjudant-Chef Bazo Marafa’. The initiative aims to strengthen Niger's national defense capabilities and reduce reliance on foreign technical expertise in aeronautical maintenance.
In addition to the maintenance graduates, the ceremony highlighted technical qualification training on the CESSNA 208B aircraft. This specific session included nine technicians from Mali, reflecting military cooperation and skill-sharing between the two nations.
