Niger and Haiti host regional events focused on education and youth

In Dosso, Niger, the Cellule d’Appui à la Mise en Œuvre et au Suivi du Programme Sectoriel de l’Éducation et de la Formation (CAMOS) held a regional workshop to disseminate the 2027-2036 Ten-Year Education and Training Development Plan (PDDEF). Governor Bana Alhassane noted that nearly 25% of Niger's national budget is allocated to education, reflecting a political commitment to use schooling as a driver for social and economic transformation.

In Delmas, Haiti, the Centre de Management et de Productivité (CMP) hosted an open house event titled ‘Youth at the Heart of Action.’ The event featured lectures by sociologist Laënnec Hurbon and journalist Georges Allens, focusing on the role of young people in society and the challenges they face. University Rector Monique César Guillaume encouraged students to mobilize for the future construction of the country.
