Niger Delta Power Holding Company appoints new executives as Vice President Kashim Shettima secured 2027 re‑nomination
The executive management of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC), led by Managing Director Engr. Jennifer Adighije, paid a courtesy visit to Vice President Kashim Shettima at the State House in Abuja. During the visit the Vice President was congratulated on his re‑nomination as running mate for the 2027 presidential election by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Following the visit, NDPHC announced the appointment of two new Executive Directors: Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon as Executive Director, Strategy and Commercial, and Mr. Chukwuma Umeoji as Executive Director, Corporate Services. The appointments are described as a step to strengthen corporate governance, improve operational efficiency and accelerate the company’s strategic agenda to expand electricity generation, transmission and distribution across Nigeria. NDPHC reiterated its commitment to delivering sustainable power infrastructure projects that support national development and improve the quality of life for Nigerians.
