APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council reshuffles leadership

APC Bola Tinubu 2027 presidential election campaign council Nigeria politics

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has implemented significant structural changes to its 2027 presidential campaign council to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid. The council has established a new Directorate of Stage Organisation and Management, led by Farouk Adamu Aliyu and co-director Adejare Bello.

Leadership adjustments were also made to the Youth and Women Mobilisation directorates. Mary Aille Idele has been appointed as the Director of Women Mobilisation, with Betta Edu serving as deputy director and Imaan Suleman as secretary. Ayo Olawande will lead the Directorate of Youth Mobilisation, supported by deputy director Dayo Israel.

These organizational shifts aim to enhance coordination and operational efficiency. The party is also expanding its reach through a diaspora mobilisation strategy led by Abike Dabiri-Erewa, targeting Nigerians in Africa, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and North America to counter negative narratives and secure international support.
