In Oyo State, APC aspirant Hon. Abiodun Gbolagade says he won the party’s direct primary for the Oluyole Federal Constituency, citing 2,315 votes against incumbent Tolulope Akande‑Sadipe’s 33. He alleges the incumbent failed to attend coalition centres, claims the results were later falsified online, and has filed a case in a Federal High Court to restore what he calls a stolen mandate.

In Niger State, grievances over alleged candidate imposition by Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago have intensified the APC’s internal crisis. Disaffected party members, led by former chief of staff Mikail Bmitosahi, have formed the Niger Rescue Movement and pledged support to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for the 2027 elections, accusing the current administration of neglecting security, jobs, education, health, water and infrastructure.
