Nigeria Customs Service concludes 2025 recruitment screening
The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has completed the final phase of its 2025 recruitment exercise. The two-week process, held at the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) in Gwagwalada, Abuja, concluded on September 19, 2026.
Nearly 3,000 shortlisted candidates underwent documentation, medical screenings, and physical fitness assessments. The recruitment covered several cadres, including Assistant Superintendent of Customs II (ASCII), Inspectorate, and Customs Assistant.
Officials noted improvements in the process compared to previous years. Assistant Comptroller-General Frank Onyeka stated that measures were implemented to reduce congestion and address earlier procedural gaps. Deputy Comptroller Adamu Musa highlighted the use of personalized screening forms to prevent record tampering and ensure an orderly assessment across medical, sports, and documentation stages.
