Nigeria equips 70 digital media personnel with tablets
The Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Technical, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Education (OSSAP-TVEE) has provided 70 digital media personnel with tablets in Abuja. The initiative aims to improve the grassroots communication of the Federal Government’s vocational empowerment programmes.
Dr. Abiola Arogundade, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on TVEE, presented the devices during a media information and empowerment meeting. The program is intended to strengthen public awareness of the National Poverty Reduction with Growth Strategy (NPRGS), as well as various vocational, entrepreneurship, and digital empowerment initiatives.
Arogundade noted that the empowerment of media personnel is a deliberate effort to ensure government programs reach young Nigerians, artisans, and entrepreneurs in communities across the country. She emphasized that media practitioners play a critical role in connecting potential beneficiaries with available opportunities and helping them participate in the digital economy.
