Nigeria football sector sees UeFC hiring drive and coaching debate

The Ultimate Football Challenge (UeFC) announced a recruitment drive in Nigeria, seeking a Brand Manager, Content Manager and Community Manager to expand its multi‑platform football entertainment ecosystem that includes a mobile app, TV and radio shows, social media and live events.

Former Super Eagles midfielder Duke Udi called on the Nigeria Football Federation to appoint a dedicated head coach for the Olympic (U‑23) Eagles. He praised Eric Chelle’s expanded role as technical supervisor across all national teams but warned that combining the Super Eagles and U‑23 duties could overstretch the coach. Udi urged the federation to keep an advisory role for Chelle while ensuring the U‑23 side has a fully focused manager.
