Nigeria honors expatriates at 2026 TEBA Awards

The 2026 edition of The Expatriates Business Awards (TEBA) was held in Abuja to recognize expatriates, businesses, and investors for their contributions to Nigeria’s economic development. The ceremony, hosted at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, honored individuals and organizations for job creation, knowledge transfer, and investment.

Government officials, including Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Festus Keyamo and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, attended the event. Niyi Fatogun, Special Assistant to the Minister of Aviation, encouraged award winners to act as ambassadors for the country, helping to project a positive image of Nigeria to the international community and highlighting its openness to foreign investment.

TEBA Director Odunola Abayomi stated that the initiative celebrates those who have embraced Nigeria by establishing businesses and promoting cultural exchange. The awards aim to encourage further engagement from international entrepreneurs and professionals to deepen their economic impact within the country.
