Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) disclosed that it has generated US$149.6 billion in revenue since operations began and has paid US$10.8 billion in taxes to the Federal Government, along with US$47.2 billion in dividends to shareholders. The company operates six liquefaction trains and contributes about 6 % of global LNG supply.

The ongoing Train 7 expansion is 93 % complete and will raise LNG production capacity by 35 % to 30 million tonnes per annum and increase LPG output by roughly 50 %, adding about 250,000 tonnes per year for the domestic market. NLNG has already supplied a record 500,000 tonnes of LPG to Nigeria in 2025 and says its gas‑utilisation model has cut gas flaring from about 65 % to below 20 %.

Management also confirmed exploratory work on further trains (8, 9 and 10) as part of a long‑term growth strategy, reinforcing Nigeria’s role as a major LNG exporter and supporting domestic energy security.
