Nigeria NYSC urges better employer welfare, inclusion in Abia

Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), visited Kogi State and called on all corps employers to upgrade the welfare of corps members, warning that firms failing to provide accommodation and transport could be blacklisted. He stressed security, discipline, entrepreneurship training and prudent financial management for corps members.

Abia State Governor Alex Otti assured the NYSC that the state practices full inclusion with no state‑of‑origin barriers for residents and corps members. He pledged swift implementation of the approved corps allowance, support for camp renovations, an ambulance donation, and other projects to improve the scheme’s operations in Abia.
