Nigeria Police investigate suicide and issue manhunt for fraud suspect

The Ondo State Police Command has launched an investigation into the suspected suicide of 46-year-old Akinbolusere Kayode in Igba town. Kayode was found dead in his office on October 29, near a petrol station. Authorities recovered two empty Sniper bottles at the scene and noted that a video recorded by the deceased, in which he discussed life struggles, has circulated on social media. Preliminary examinations showed no visible marks of violence.

Separately, the Inspector-General of Police has authorized a manhunt for 48-year-old Bolaji Joseph Ojikutu in Abuja. Ojikutu, a construction site supervisor, is wanted for alleged fraud, money laundering, criminal breach of trust, and false pretence. The Force Criminal Investigation Department is handling the case, and police have requested public assistance in locating him.
