Despite Kwara United taking an early lead through Stephen Gideon, Bendel Insurance staged a second-half comeback with goals from Kayode Oke and Chinedu Nwosu. This win helps Bendel Insurance seek their first away victory of the season.

Kano Pillars also earned maximum points with a 2-0 home win over Nasarawa United, featuring goals from Yahaya Ibrahim and Fabian Nworie. Other notable results include Shooting Stars defeating Abia Warriors 4-1 and Enyimba securing a 1-0 win against Kun Khalifat.
