Nigeria: Religious leaders clash with Tinubu administration over economic reality
Tensions have risen in Nigeria following a closed-door meeting between President Bola Tinubu and the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria (CBCN). Onaiyekan further suggested that the administration appears increasingly focused on securing victory in the 2027 elections "by all means."
