The organizations noted that existing institutions, such as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), already provide sufficient oversight. The bill includes provisions for mandatory registration and significant penalties, including fines of at least N20 million and the potential revocation of operating licenses.
