He argued that his emotional bond and commitment to the child would remain unchanged regardless of biological findings, citing the potential emotional damage such tests could cause to a family.

In a separate family dispute, a man shared a conflict involving the sale of family land to fund a late father’s burial. While a friend offered to purchase the land to provide the necessary ₦4 million for the funeral, the deceased’s elder sons reportedly rejected the offer. Instead, they requested a loan of the funds, accusing the younger sibling of being selfish for insisting on a formal land transfer rather than a personal loan.
